1966 Sunbeam Alpine.....Japnified !!! A Series 5 Classic in excellent running condition albeit equipped with a rugged, reliable and economically-viable  C22 Nissan power-plant. Fitted with the usually-optional wire-wheels. Comes with the original five-bearing 1725 cc engine with twin Zenith-Stromberg semi-downdraught carburettors producing 93 bhp (as spare) if the buyer so wishes to switch to the original.

HULU BERNAM HISTORY IN BRIEF

The History of Hulu Bernam Sub-district could be dated back to the 1940’s. An incident which had taken place then had inspired its name. Apparently, a group of locals had tried to evade the communists by going upstream in a canoe. During that time, the surrounding areas were hilly and densely covered with jungle vegetation which had become the hideout for the communists. The locals had panic after being bombarded with continuous gunfire.
The canoe overturned and they fell into the river. Numbed with terror and cold, they tried swimming against the tide towards safety. In order to survive, they tried gathering their strength by boosting each other’s spirits with inspirational words of encouragement to “swim upstream, swim upstream”.
Ironically, there were only six of them. It is from this incident and the spirits of these six strong-willed men that eventually Mukim Hulu Bernam or Hulu Bernam Sub-district got its name. Nowadays, Hulu Bernam Sub-district has achieved numerous progresses in term of facilities, infrastructures and standard of living. In fact, even the standard of education has improved for the better.
